- Short leaves

The fineness of the paper is a matter of taste. The nature of the paper

Rolling papers made from wood pulp are still the most common. Their biggest advantage is that they are thicker and therefore easier to use, which makes them suitable for beginner rollers. These leaves have a medium to fast burn rate and your wraps will generally stay nicely lit.

However, it should be noted that they often have a rather remarkable aftertaste, unlike other types of leaves and that they produce the most ash. They are often bleached with chlorine or other additives, which can have damaging consequences on health. Rice paper

rolling papers combine the advantages of the two previous types of paper, without having the disadvantages. They are made from 100% natural hemp fibers and most of the time are not bleached. Hemp leaves are not as thin and normally have a texture that makes them easier to grip.

Pure hemp leaves are not entirely tasteless, but unlike wood pulp leaves with artificial additives, hemp adds a slight, sweet, musky taste that most smokers find pleasant. And on the combustion side, the hemp leaves burn slowly but stay better lit than the rice leaves.
